President Mahinda Rajapaksa has sacked the questionable minister Mervyn Silva from his agent priest post besides drop his Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) enlistment.
This decision was taken after the lawmaking body held a disciplinary demand over his late lead ties a Samurdhi officer to a mango tree a week back over the failure by the officer to go to a dengue shirking program in Kelaniya.
Samurdhi joint trade union co-convener Nishantha Udawatta said union will give Mervin Silva one week's last proposition to make an open articulation of regret for his exercises. If Mervin Silva fails to do accordingly, the union is wanting to lodge a protest with the human rights commission.
In dispute to Mr. Silva's exercises samurdhi powers are continuing boycotting dengue balancing activity programs.
Priest Basil Rajapaksa is to meet Samurdhi officers for talks tomorrow with the purpose of handling the inquiry happening in light of the exercises of Deputy Minister Mervyn Silva.
A week back in the midst of a press guidelines agency agent and Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said a get-together of government parts including authority ministers needs to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa to request him to make firm move against Mr. Silva.
