Sri Lankans to get Indian visa on entry frame 14 April

Apr 15, 2015 (LBO) - Sri Lankans visiting India will receive visas on their arrival from yesterday (April 14th), a statement issued by the Government said.

"Sri Lanka has been added to the rundown of nations that will appreciate the visa on landing office," the announcement said.

"Sri Lankan Nationals who touch base at the airplane terminals of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin and Goa will have the capacity to acquire a 30-Day visa on entry."

The announcement further cited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying, amid his visit to Sri Lanka a month ago, that Sri Lanka will be added to the rundown of nations offered visa on landing by India from April 14, not long from now.

Sri Lanka will turn into the 44th nation to acquire on landing visa benefits from India.
